Self Service Portal

The self service portal provides a simple and autonomous way for developers to create, interact and configure Remote Development Environments (RDEs) while eliminating the complexity of dealing with dependencies and manual configuration.

Configuration

DevStack makes use of predefined templates to centralise and streamline RDE configuration. A template provides defaults for the configuration and also defines, which parameters can be further customised upon creation. Templates are created and maintained by DevStack administrators.

Deploy, start, stop, and delete RDEs

The self service portal gives you an overview of your RDEs. You can see which of them are deployed and/or running.

The buttons "deploy", "start", "stop", and "delete" give you easy control over them.
